What's in your head

Was wondering what people think when they are getting set before throwing the ball I know most are gonna say they are thinking of their mark to hit. But what do you think about?

I think to much. So much that I try to analyze everything and end up overthinking.

This is me as well, which is why I tell myself to slow down. I also take a deep breath or two when I'm on the approach, if anything just to stop myself from thinking too much and getting overhyped. The more I can keep myself relaxed and in sync with my armswing, the less chances I have of being ahead of the ball at the foul line, causing me to pull, or worse.

For me it's remembering to breathe. I have a bad habit of holding my breath when I am on the approach.

it used to be "stay behind the ball" and "post it".....

now, it's..... "just bowl"

My thoughts usually revolve around; "holy crap, how did that guy carry that??" Then after I completely rip a rack and stone a 9pin im like "Crap!! i wish i had his carry!!"  That's at least my usual night at league on the approaches.

I try not to think much. Set myself and visualize the shot and bowl. If I second guess myself on the approach then that is when trouble starts.

"stick the finish!"

unless they're hooking outta the building... which then becomes,

"let it go!"
