I bowled the State USBC tourney there last week.  They still have a very poor wood surface.  Tons of games with totally depleted conditioner on the rights side means everything right of 20 hooks right off of your hands midway through the first shift.  Kids that twist it up love the house as the left side stays flooded because the lane finish is better.  They can go in 5th or 6th arrow or even loft it over the cap and have a great reaction and carry.

Houses like that are what the Scorpion pattern was designed for.  Unfortunately from what I understand, Astro doesn't have a lane machine capable of laying that type of pattern.

Old wood was what I was told they where but someone else last night had heard they just did the synthetic overlays..

Bowled state there april 15th and 16th. And yes I have to say
they were not in the best of conditions but not unplayable by anymeans.
All it took was a little adjusting and the right ball and you had a shot.
Shot my average for 9 games and our team is currently in Second place in division 4 so no complaints here. Just man up and figure it out .
