Title: Anyone own an ebonite ball rack?
Post by: MegaMav on June 01, 2006, 05:02:11 AM: i was thinking about picking one up, staining and polyurethaning it.
and getting the dust cover as well.

is it a quality rack and cover?

I think I picked mine up for around $45-$50 shipped. I can't remember what site though. I know there is one on ebay right now for $39+$15 shipping.

The more balls on it...if next to a wall...the strurdier it seems.

Post by: Mike E on June 01, 2006, 08:16:20 PM: What I did was buy 3. Then I doubled up on the bottom and third racks to build 2 pretty sturdy racks.Put casters on the bottom. Used 3 slats per side instead of two.Like someone else said it's about what you would expect for $39 but doubling up on two of the four shelves makes them alot sturdier. Would also like to know where to buy a cover if anyone knows.
