That 300 is right around the corner...
« on: April 01, 2007, 03:55:38 PM »
Tonight, for the second time in 4 days and in back-to-back league nights, I shot out 11 of 12 strikes during league play.

my 299 thread, here... http://www.ballreviews.com/Forum/Replies.asp?TopicID=159614&ForumID=16&CategoryID=5

to be perfectly honest, this one was closer to a 300 than my 299. I left a solid 10 in the 7th frame due to my messenger getting picked by another pin on it's way across the deck... Unlike the 299, I threw 3 buried pocket shots in the tenth frame. There were ZERO shots thrown that weren't in the pocket.

I guess that 299 got the jitters out, I wasn't nearly as shaky as I was thursday. I had a ton of adrenaline going, sure, but I stayed on the shot and executed like I normally do under pressure.

I hope to get my 300 before the league season is over. At this rate, I think it will happen.

Brunswick and Lane #1: there is no other. Well... maybe a few Storms... and a One. Did I mention Roto Grip yet?

Ha, I did the same thing 2 weeks ago.  7th frame and 10 pin with everything else being a strike.

Unlucky 7 I guess.

279 just isn't as impressive.
