wood lanes and particles

Is it just me or do particle balls work really well on wood lanes. especially THS.

I definitely think particle balls work/react better on wood. Wood lanes/finishes are softer, so the particles are able to "dig in" better, in my opinion. =:^D

I too have had excellent results with particle balls on wood, although the lighter load balls seem to work best for me.  I refer to my Trauma Recovery as my "wood lane ball."

Hey guys, I agree with the last two posts.  If you have heavy oil on wood, then particles can work fine.  But if the shot begins to dry out, you'll watch pocket shots begin leaving 7's and 10's.  I had this happen to me, and my bowling guru explained that on dry lanes, the ball will lose some of its enegry and start hitting weaker.  If the lanes are wet enough though, the ball can still retain enough enegry
