anyway to reinforce toe area on bowling shoes

i have a problem with bowling shoes wearing out and the toe area and im just wondering if anyone has and ideas how to reinforce it so it lasts longer or doesnt do it thanks

Glue a piece of slide sole to the area you drag on...works like a champ.

I was ripping the toe caps off my Tour Ultras, so I attached a piece of teflon felt to it.  It is slick so it removed the grab of the approach when I slid my pushaway foot across the approach behind me.  That might work for you and it is easily replaceable.

Or take it to a shoe repair shop and see what they recommend.  --  JohnP
