I finally bought a DVD recorder. If you have any good quality VHS tapes of old PBA shows, I would like to archive them. I will place them on a DVD for you, and of course keep a copy for myself.
You pay to ship your VHS tape(s) to me, and I will pay to ship them back to you with a DVD copy. Any takers? Right now I only want ones that are good quality recordings. Later on as I see what I collect I might start copying "less-than-perfect" recordings.

C'mon guys - you can loan me some of your pre-2002 PBA shows on VHS. I'm not going to hurt them. This is NOT a commercial venture. It's a win-win situation. I copy your tapes to DVD - give you a free DVD copy of your tapes, and return your tapes to you. I have some late 2002 and 2003 already, but I sure would like to view the early 2002 and all shows prior to 2002 if you have them. Send me a private message and we'll work out the details.

The Bob Learn Jr. Show. The 4 game record breaking win in Erie,Pa. from 4-6-96. I will check it out and some of the others that i have(300 games) and see what condition they are in and will get back to you.
Do you want any PWBA tapes? I think i have Feldmans 300 game which was the 1st on TV for the PWBA.

Glen & Stormrox - What you have sounds fine to me. I don't mind commercials - that's the beauty of transfering them to DVD - it takes me about 5 minutes to edit them out. I can fit 2 telecasts on a DVD easily and still maintain quality. Contact me with a private message and I'll give you my address.
Sometimes commercials are worth keeping - I was watching the 1968 Detroit open in glorious Black & White - when's the last time you saw a cigarette commercial? Some of you youngster have probably NEVER seen one. It was hilarious - L&M brand "flavor grabbers". The only thing funnier was the Firestone commercial touting the safety benefits of Firestone tires. This was a period in the 1960's when Firestone 500 tires were exploding on the freeway - so Firestone was doing damage control.

Nobody wants to put their PBA shows on DVD? For Free!! I can't believe I'm the only one who tapes PBA shows. C'mon guys, send me some of those 1980's thru 2002 shows so I can archive them. You get DVD's for no cost!!

hey randy I have a few vhs tapes with stuff from about 95-97 I also have some old world team challenge shows and I think an old team usa show where Barnes and Healy bowled head to head. I also have some Pwba. This is the problem: I just put alot of these shows all on one tape allot of shows all together you would have to sort out what you wanted, but I would happy to let you copy.

Randy give me an address to send them to. I must have 30 tapes (3-4 shows/tape) most with commercials. I will send a few and see how they come out. I have alot from mid 90's. I had tried to do what your doing but got too frustrated trying to edit out all the commercials.
