Are you a Dominator, Underdog, or Dark Horse??
« on: March 09, 2011, 11:45:27 PM »
Thought this might be interested to post to see what type of bowlers/teams we have on this site. Are you one of those bowlers that have a very high average and just dominate each league or tournament year after year? Or maybe you're average is pretty good and you seem to give the better bowlers a run for their money (expecially when the game is on the line)? Or are you just one of those unexpected bowlers that's overlooked and can just burst into the scene unexpectedly and pull a stunner?

I would consider myself as an underdog because I like it when the odds are against me. It just makes my team and I go the distance against a better bowler or team. We might not win every game but we won't make it easy for them to win.

When I was younger, I was probably a dark horse.  Now with the way everyone keeps beating me, I am probably a dead horse.

Realistically, I used to be a Dominator, but am now an underdog, working on becoming a dark horse. As I get older, I find it harder and harder to perform at a level high enough to maintain any semblance of being anywhere near the domination level.

Couple that with a bad knee and a job that severely limits my bowling to about 3-6 games a week, and you can easily see why I have gone down that far. I still average around 210, but that's really nothing anymore these days.

Funny, considering I once won high average in our mens league with a 201 average.
