Are You Bowling This Summer or Taking Time Off?
« on: April 14, 2009, 09:05:11 AM »
I decided to take the summer off bowling for abit to workout my body more and mend to some dents in my armor (mainly my wrist and upper back). About the only time I'll bowl is in June for the Louisville Derby Tourney and might bowl once in May and July but that seems about it until mid-August. Plus I want to try and golf more this summer too if my body permits it. What is everyone else doing this summer?

PBA League, and probably practicing whenever I can find a sport shot to practice on in my area.

No THS bowling at all the entire summer

Im going to do the PBA experience league and maybe the adult/child.

My daughter is 13 and goes to high school in the summer. She now has a 175 avg and is throwing 600 series frequently. Im sure with a little more dicepline (nagging) she can get to 180/190.

I will be bowling 4 leagues in the fall - inclusing a league at another house - so want to work on my 210 avg over the summer and am hoping the PBA league will help as much as I have heard.

No league, unless I get asked to sub plus a couple of tourneys(NM State and Native American Mixed Nationals in Vegas).  Other than that most likely will play alot of golf.
