I'm a THB who averages about 218 right now in my league and about 200-205 in a travelling scratch league. Sometimes I move my feet half a board or one board on the approach because it visually changes my line. I know when I make a bad shot or don't give it enough fingers or when I'm too fast or too slow. But on a THS, we seem to get carrydown, and with that, I often move left because my ball will hit the dry a foot or two sooner, giving it a better backend through the carrydown. In a typical night I never move more than a board or two unless I make drastic changes to my line (like move from throwing 10 at the arrows to 15 at the arrows). No, I don't repeat the same shot as often as I would like, but I move based on the good shots. When other guys are moving all over the place, I often stay put and do just fine. But, I am the THB who does move a 1/2 board on occasion and it helps me.
