track clipping thumbhole
« on: June 28, 2004, 07:55:09 AM »
Ok quick question... in the last 6 months, my track has raised significantly, along with my revrate, i think due to staying behind the ball longer. THe problem is, on every ball i own, my track now clips the thumbhole, even on balls with pins above my ring. Its not a problem on the ones that just barely get clipped, but on one ball with a low pin, it completely rolls over my thumbhole and messes with the reaction. do you guys have any suggestions on things i could do, because all of the suggestions i've heard on drilling the ball different have already been in effect due to my current drillings.

I used to have the same problem.....particularly if the pin was below the fingers.

I still track very high, but do not clip the thumbhole anymore. Honestly the best solution is to work on your release and try to come around it just a hair more than you currently do.

Weightholes will not really help if you are that far behind the ball. They can HELP....but more than likely they wouldn't help enough.
