With all the talk lately about building arsenals, the issue of $$$ has come up a few times. I was thinking, what would be wrong with building an arsenal out of discontinued stuff that you can generally find on the internet, undrilled, fairly cheap! I mean, I'm all for supporting the local pro shop (which I do a fair amount, I've bought a new ball from them every year the past 4 years. And being a musician, I'm also very strong about supporting the local little guy), but with some prices on the stuff not made anymore, how can you pass it up!
And a lot of times, the discontinued stuff is just as strong as some new stuff, or some of us don't want stuff as strong as the new stuff.
Am I the only one thinking of this?
