About what price ranges does a new ball drill cost? This includes all the jiggs, scales and tools for measurement.

Looking at innovative bowling's website, about 6 grand and that doesn't include tools for measurement.

Although they have a starter pro shop package at $2600.

The Dodo scale is about $1000.
Mill $5000
Spinner $400
Pitch gauges: $250
Bevel sanders: $86
Plug cutter:  $150
Pro Sec: $70

There is a whole lot more than just that.  Would guess to start new would be somewhere between 15,000 and 17,000 dollars.

Here's mine:

1) Mountain drill press off Amazon.com, $225.
2) Used jig and full set of bits from a member here, about $700 shipped.
3) Ball spinner direct from Vertex Mold, $225.
4) Assorted cleaners, Abralon pads, a 3/16 long bit from Lowe's for thumb vent holes, tools, etc., $200.

That's $1,350 for a basic setup. In six months, it had paid for itself, as much work as I do for myself and for my wife.

No, it's not a mill drill, but I learned a long time ago how to work a thumbhole out by hand.

The one big thing missing is a scale. I have to go to a friend's shop to get my stuff weighed but I'm not spending $700-$1,000 for a scale at the moment, especially not with the USBC supposedly considering dropping most of the static weight limits in the next year or two.
