300's on consecutive nights
« on: April 03, 2014, 12:48:48 AM »
Well, after 7 years without a sanctioned 300 game, I go and shoot a 300 on back to back nights, first in my more competitive handicap league, then the next night, in a different house, using a different ball on my more relaxed Vegas league.  Sometimes, when you're just feeling it, you're just feeling it, and you get past that block and realize it's a very do-able thing.  Amazing how life and this sport works.

Congratulations on your two 300's.  Maybe you're still feeling it in your next league session and you can get a third.

That's pretty cool, I just had a buddy of mine do the same thing.  Hell of a week!
What would you be if you were attached to another object by an inclined plane, wrapped helically around an axis?

Very cool accomplishment!!  Not too many people can say that, I'm sure.

I actually had 2 two days apart in March of 2006, and last Thursday (3-27) and Monday (3-31) of this week.  Also at different houses with different equipment.

It's a great feeling when you can relax, roll the ball well, AND score!  The confidence feeds itself, and you're suddenly at the "place" you wish you could be every league night.  I'd better get Rico's book so I can get there more often.
