Arthritic Middle Finger-YourGrip Recommendations
« on: August 17, 2009, 10:52:11 AM »
I am having pain in my arthritic middle finger. If you have personally had a similar problem please tell me what you did to enable you to bowl without pain.  Thanks in advance.

I have a buddy that bowls with his ring and pinkey finger due to arthritis in his middle finger. Does quite well like that.

you may find some relief in a slotted grip-----that's where the brigde between the fingerholes is removed and you place your fingers in this slot instead of a hole for each finger.

Drop the span on and use more reverse on that finger to releive some of the grip pressure.

I have the same problem.  I recently went to more reverse in the fingers and harder finger inserts.
