Rising Star or Virtual Gravity
« on: December 09, 2012, 09:23:19 PM »
I am trying to put my arsenal together and have a chance to pick up a used Virtual Gravity and Rising Star both of which are in new condition with very few games on them and a perfect fit. My lineup so far includes:
Rogue Cell
Virtual Energy
Grand Illusion
Heat Hybrid Black/Silver

I had a Bandit but have recently departed with it and looking at the RG and Diff specs between the Bandit and the Star they are identical but with different cores and coverstocks with the Bandit a Pearl. The Heat has been my medium ball filling in better than the Bandit did, so was thinking the Star fills in the bottom for light conditions?

Rising Star is similar to the the Tropical Heat Hybrid.

Virtual Gravity is similar but different than the Rogue Cell in that they both can heandle heavy medium oil league conditions.

The Virtual Coverstock is probably quicker in it's response to friction!  than the Rogue.  But both Strong!

I must say that I am fairly new to all of this and trying to put something good together for mostly league play that has a modified house shot being heavier in the heads to start. Would it be to my advantage to carry both the Rogue Cell and the Virtual Energy to league? I really like the result of the Cell however there seems to be times when it is a bit too long. I have the Virtual Energy as my second ball out then after a weaker ball. I have been told that they will be replacing these lanes next season with synthetic will this have much influence on the equipment I have? Thanks

are you on wood lanes now? or just old synthetic lanes
You need to compete for something greater than just winning.
