Looking for a Coach in the SF Bay Area
« on: December 30, 2003, 09:45:59 PM »
I'm looking for any contact information for any Bowling Instructors or Coaches who take students by the hour in the San Francisco Bay Area.  I would prefer to stay in San Francisco or Daly City, and ideally in Marin County.  If you have any contact info, or you are a coach, please PM me or email me.

I'm a league bowler looking to improve.  Thanks.

Not sure if he does coaching now, but contact curse of dusty here on the site.  He's about the best I know of in the SF area.

I sent you an e-mail. My suggestions were Phil Regan, Rodney Garrick, or Ty Dawson. I'm sure there are other good local coaches but I know and trust all of the ones I suggested.

Ask Gravy - he probably knows of a coach or two.

I read your profile and I feel where you are coming from.  I only average 162 so I am the lowest average bowler in my league.  Ask SrKegler I've shot many a 162, and one against him!  Maybe you and I should get some coaching.  Let me know who you encounter.  By the way, what house do you bowl at and what city do you live in?  That would help with coaching recommendations because the coaches in the bay are spread out all over the place.

Thanks for all the help guys.  I've emailed a few people and am awaiting responses.

Does anyone know how to get into contact with Ty Dawson?  I got an email address and the mail was returned. The link on this thread doesn't work either, but maybe their server is just down for the holidays.

Peach,
I bowl league in Marin County, but do a lot of open bowling in the South Bay and Daly City.  Classic bowl, Serra bowl, Sea Bowl, and Bel Mateo are where I more than occasionally throw some man weight.  And you?
