Moderators, would it be possible to put up a "sticky" post in each forum outling what will and won't be tolerated.  I know from past experience that some will cry foul and think the removal of a post was unwarranted.  Anyway, I think that would go a long way towards helping re-establish guidelines for the site without stirring up as much animosity toward the moderators who censor an offensive post.  If a post has to be removed, maybe a message to the offending party (or leave one for the whole board to see)as to why it was removed.

No 9, they haven't yet.....I just realized my post in the MNB related section was deleted too......novel idea isn't .....even though I can see why they deleted it....why not tell everyone, so everyone can understand the rules......

I don't happen to be the moderator for this particular section.  I do have to agree with all the above.  Personally, I would have simply edited the post to remove the language and would have left a message why "I" felt it was inappropriate.

Bear in mind, this is still a new concept having moderators.  The site has run wild, mainly due to a few kids using profanity, or changing the letters to get thru the checker.

This moderator may be a little stricter than we wished for, it is his/her call though, it may just take a while to attain a happy medium.

I'm not really sure if anyone on the site checks the posts, maybe a personal note to the website owner would be seen or heard.

Before you ask, we have no idea how many moderators are present, who any of the other ones are.  Each moderator is assigned a particular section(s) and isn't supposed to monitor the other sites except for gross language or totally inappropriate topics.

Hammer, quiet down.  You've already mentioned the post several times, don't act like this is my fault.

The moderators want a civilized BR society, and contrary to your beliefs, our insomniac post can continue on without all the cussing and stuff like that....IF you don't think so, you can feel free to stay out of it.
