Lord, I Thank You.
« on: June 11, 2005, 03:58:26 PM »
I've noticed a lot of threads dedicated to the relentless pursuit of perfection or an 800 series.  I've been blessed with enough talent and the correct conditions to achieve both of them.  I've got 300's in four different houses and 800's in three separate ones.  So, it's not like I'm killing' them in one single venue.  In our city, we're spoiled.  Decent head oil, generously cushioned outsides, and fresh backends, combined with the insanely aggressive coverstocks that are formulated today and the talent that the Lord above has granted me.

For those who continue their quest for their own personal "Holy Grail", remember this.  Often times it's not to get where you want to go, it's just as important to embark on the journey.  In other words, if you don't get there, it's not that big of a deal.  Enjoy the game.  Crush your opponent.  Take their bracket monies.
