Bowling with Rockerbowler18

I know Rockerbowler18 already posted, but I thought this response desreved it's own post.

Bowling with Rockerbowler18 was a pleasure.  Unlike the post I read earlier where the poster didn't think the junior bowlers were supported, this was just the opposite.

I applaud Rockerbowler18 for bowling doubles with a bowler he didn't know and knew he was a member of Ballreviews.  Because he knew that sometimes posters can be overly critical.

Rockerbolwer18 reminds me a lot of Pete Weber.  Even sounded like him the last two games.  It seemed Rocketbowler18 was trying to be too conserative with his personality the first three games and when he finally broke out, his game came to life.  He was respectful yet fired up the last two games.  sounding out, pumping fist and all within reason.  In the beginning we knew it would be a swing fest and Rockerbowler18 got the ball down smooth, form was outstanding, his arm swing and follow through reminded me of Pete Weber.  Some bowlers bowl better fired up and some bowl better calm and passive.

Rockerbowler18's scores were not indicative of his skill.  You could watch him bowl and see that.  I think he found his game the last two games because he did get fired up.  I had a hard time helping him because I hurt my back in shadow and had to sit and stretch between every shot just so I could attempt to bowl.  Dry lanes and swinging the ball with good ball speed was very hard for me.  I think if I would have gotten fired up earlier, it might of helped Rockerbowler18 loosen up earlier.

The junior bowlers at this house, parents and spectators were outstanding.  Yes they pretty much had too many bowling balls, but they adjusted extremely well and you had to in order to score on this shot.  They were friendly and upbeat and some really good bowlers.  There were no bad attitudes that I could see in my area.  It was a pleasure. Too bad I was in so much pain.  The spectators family members were alive and vocally supportive.

I think Rockerbowler18 has great knowledge of the game and the bowling balls.  He will be a great asset to bowling in general and to our website.

It was another great tournament for JAT.

Thank you, Nicanor!

I really appreciate you making the drive up to help me out when my partner had to work!

I definitely needed to get the adrenaline going. My mind just wasn't sharp until the last couple of games.
