If you want to throw more 7 counts and totally mess up your game.

Keep things simple and compact.  This isn't a dancing contest.

WTF is good with that, the guy has no balance what so ever. Falls off to the right half the time. Cant hit the same spot to save his life.

This is a vid of what not to do.

True, but he seems to only strike when he falls off!

Sorry, don't have the patience to watch the whole video.

Please give the article another look.
Videos now include explanations of the technique by Mo himself.

Okay watched the "new videos" still not understanding the point.

Maybe if something is so totally messed up in your game and you want to do something different to try and fix it, but I would never teach anyone this type of form to begin with.

He threw one shot from each angle.  He didn't fall off the shot and you have no idea what he's aiming at, so how can you possibly say what you did?  If you don't like it, fine, but your critique is out of line.

Mo is the "mad scientist" of bowling.  Every couple of years he comes out with some new magical technique or new drilling/core idea that is going to change the game.  The problem with this is he tries to apply it to every bowler that he comes in contact with.

There is no doubt that Mo is a bright man, but the practical application of some of this stuff just doesn't work in reality.  His son (the one in the video) is a terrible bowler...sure he can hook the snot out of it...but because everything is mechanical and forced he has absolutely no feel and therefore can't execute.

Dave Davis used this technique for years, probably still utilizes it.

Norm Duke uses a variation of this form.

Brian Zeisig (sp?) won the plastic ball tournament and uses this technique.

While it may not be for everyone, it's not without it's successes...

I have issues with longer and shorter first steps. I have been doing this for years to eliminate the different first step. It does take a bit of getting used to (went for 6/7 step to 5). It works for me.
