After reading all these, I can only assume that what the "webmaster" meant when he/she said, "Don't complain to the moderators", he meant we should complain directly to him.
However, how would he know why a moderator deleted a post?
AND, that deletion SHOULD have to be justified when the original poster has a legitimate complaint, as Hose does in this case. I posted in that thread he started and I saw no reason, given the webmaster's 4 reason, why it should have been deleted
If that justification is not adequate, then that post must also be recoverable.
Unless procedures are in place to do all the above, belief in the efficacy of moderations is hereby suspended. Unless, of course, the ONLY reason for the existence of such moderation is to make life easier on the webmaster and not to fulfill any true function. Proof: the continued posting by trolls or garbage and profanity.
