What a night new high game and series
« on: March 25, 2005, 03:17:15 PM »
Went to a tourney tonight and shot:
300, 297, 242 - 839 first every 300, 297, and 800.
Unfortunately unsanctioned so no awards but the scores are award enough.
Could have been better but the third pair I shot on was drastically different and I couldn't get comfortable with a ball change or a line change with original ball (6 boards on 1 lane 8 on the other).

One thing that was strange though was the fact that I wasn't nervous at all going into the 10th of game one but in the second my heart was pounding like I had just run a marathon and I was shaking like I was holding onto a jack hammer. I had illusions of shooting a 900 for some crazy reason and got NERVOUS.

Awesome!

It may not have been sanctioned, but it's not like it was practice either.  Yours was thrown during a pressure situation.  Tournament conditions and switching pairs.  What were you throwing?

Congratualtions.

Roto Grip Ultra Sonic 4x3.5 just got it in a trade and I it is wonderful.
Way stronger than I expected though.
I have it a Boom and Solid, I match up really well with the Sonic series with my low tilt and slower speed.
