bad bowling week so far
« on: August 18, 2004, 05:07:29 PM »
well its starts off that a guy walked into my fav bowling ally and he offered them 1.9 mill for 3.5 acres of land in the city to build some stupid strip mall, and what made it worse that they had brand new synthetic lanes budgeted and they were going to add a restaurant and totally remodel, i loved the place even know it was old getto and run down but it was my favorite, and to add to that i worked there when they were busy it helped cover bowling cost alittle but it was not much, so now every bowler in the city has to go to the more modern 60 lane ally so there will be no open bowling in the fall season, i just hope they fit all the traveling leagues and high school bowling practice in cause it looks like its going to be very tight, and i dis like a good amount of
people that work there i think my big blue is smarter then them.

And the second thing is my favorite pro shop guy died two days ago and he was a good driller and knowledgeable about bowling and a good friend, so now his son runs the place and hes not liked by lots people and i will end it at that about him i could say more.

Im sorry to hear that, I hate "modern day" allies, like the one I bowl at to. Well its half old and crappy, cuz the lanes are old crappy wood, but its got the dance floor and all that BS. Well still, sorry to hear that, and Im sorry to hear about your driller dying. Hopefully they will get everyone into there..."semi-comfortably"..well, u get my drift.
