i havent thrown either of them but the mission will be much earlier and stronger than he versa max. both are smooth but the versa gets through the fronts much easier and is a little more assertive down lane. all this is of course assuming that you get close to OOB reacion from the red mission in terms of strength.

I've had both and still have the Versa-Max, but not the Mission. Both drilled pin under RF and CG out with no weight hole. The Mission moves earlier and the Versa-Max later. The Versa-Max is really clean thru the heads. The Mission is a good ball with a more arcy move on the back end than the Versa-Max and pin carry is good, but the versa-Max pin carry is better. When the Versa-Max sniffs dry, it moves and moves hard with strong continuation thru the pocket. Unless you bowl on heavy oil, the Versa-Max is the better of the 2 balls and way more versatile.
