I'm curious and would like to poll this...

How many of you are using vent holes?

I don't use vent holes per se -- instead, I use Vise thumb slugs which have the vent hole built into the back (just make sure you don't put glue in the slot where air vents!)

I do not have vent holes in any of my balls.

The pro shop where I work part time is under new ownership, and they are doing some things differently than the old owner.  One of those things is drilling a vent hole for the thumb in virtually every ball we drill.  I am learning to drill vent holes.
