Ball choices from a friend reentering the game
« on: June 20, 2004, 01:57:06 AM »
I was just speaking with a fellow bowler who is getting back into the game during the fall season who's been out of the loop for about 6 years. The two balls he had last were a Gold Rhino Pro and a Turbo X. He's a tweener, probably averages about 16-17 mph and prefers playing the second arrow and out shot. Any help for me to supply to him would be greatly appreciated.

I can say that for the money and a house shot you can't beat a Hammer.

he may be more comfortable with an arcing ball and layout if he is not use to the SNAP of some of the reactive.

so a Sling Blade or Blade sold will give him a lot of arc with a 5 x 3 pin down.

if he want a little more backend but some control I think a Sharp Blade drilled
pin up 5 x 3 will give him control enough if there is fresh oil on the heads.
I had the old  Blade particle and that had a lot of back end for a THS.

a good one- two may be the sharp blade and the sling blade.

in fact if I lost all my equipment and had to bowl in a THS league I would Buy those and plastic ball and be set.

Another option would be for one ball. the triple threat from TRack. except for extremes this ball can handle it all on THS shots.

you also have Visionary as an option. high end equipment for a mid line price.

there are others but these are one I have thrown.
