Ball cleaners 2015, any new opinions?

Been bowling about a year now.  I have tried Ebonite Power Wash, Ebonite Clean and Dull, and Valentino Remedy Rx.  The Clean and Dull cleaned best but didn't leave ball with a tacky feeling after like the sprays did.

 I'm curious if anyone tried something new recently that they really liked.

Yes I do...And there is a reason why Storm balls are the top selling balls on the market....It's called the miracle drug..."Reacta Scuff"...lol...

Cause more than likely...your bowling  balls need more backend...lol...

Also consider Knockout Ball Cleaner. www.knockoutballcleaner.com It comes in a spray on bottle and is pretty effective. Clean n Dull and Valentino's Remedy are my favorite cleaners, but I bought several bottles of Knockout in a recent promotion and used the stuff.

After trying various others including homemade, I've settled in with Remedy RX for regular use and Clean & Dull for deeper cleaning when needed.  The Remedy Rx is a very nice cleaner that doesn't smell bad, and for me leaves a nice tacky feeling, especially when cleaning using a spinner.  Highly recommended.

Ok, sorry I didn't notice this sooner.
Clean and Dull is THE strongest bowling ball cleaner on the market, bar none. Others may be easier to use. If your use of it did not leave the ball tacky, something is wrong with the procedure you used.

1A. You really can't use this at the lanes. You rarely have to do that because it's such a deep and strong cleaner. The 2nd best cleaning products for use at the lanes are Hook-It and LMB International cleaner (formerly Lane Masters cleaner). And they are both very effective cleaners; personally I use LMB Int'l cleaner at the lanes.

1B. I always use a rubber glove to protect my hand when applying C&D. It is that strong.

2. The current instructions from Powerhouse are not the same as the original instructions when it was marketed by Track or by its inventor, APP (Advanced Polishing Products). The original instructions are
a) Put a quarter sized dollop on a strong paper towel (like Bounty) and rub the top half of the ball for about 45 - 60 seconds, keeping the surface wet with cleaner.
b) Dampen a 2nd paper towel and wipe off the residual Clean and Dull, thoroughly.
c) Use a 3rd dry paper towel to remove the water that washed off the residual C&D.
d) Do the bottom half of the ball.

Even when bowling on true heavy oil, I'd only use C&D about every 9 games or so; that is, if you are cleaning the ball at the lanes after bowling, as you should.

I suspect the reason your ball was not tacky after using C&D is that there was residual C&D on the ball that was not removed with the dampened paper towel.

I follow the correct instructions you gave for using C&D last night and it worked exactly as intended.  Thank you very much CharlesT.

Are there any differences between Ebonite Clean N Dull vs. Powerhouse Clean N Dull vs. Track Clean N Dull formulations?

I have a small bottle of the Powerhouse branded stuff and would like to buy a 32 oz. bottle for my next buy since it's way cheaper per oz.  I just want to make sure that they're all as effective as one another?

Alright.  Thanks for the clarification.

I haven't heard any complaints about one brand of C&D being ineffective vs another so if Ebonite is making their own, I guess they're doing a pretty good job of it.

I just picked up 32 oz of the stuff.  After seeing some oil rings still on a ball that I cleaned off with SG+alcohol on a spinner after its use, and seeing those rings disappear after cleaning it again with C&D (a few days after the ball was thrown even), I'm a believer in the stuff.

I've tried a lot of the different cleaners in the last few years and here's what I would consider as the best products I've tried and currently:

**Regular cleaner**
Powerhouse Clean N' Dull- Solids
Motiv Power Gel Clean- Pearls

**Tacky cleaner**
Remedy RX- Pearls
Powerhouse Power Wash- Pearls

**Deep Cleaner**
Powerhouse Adrenaline Wipes- All
Motiv Power Gel Scuff- Solids

I'm planning on buying a bottle of the Next Gen Evolution Maxx and Intense cleaners this weekend to try it out. But the Vise cleaners, I have not heard about them until just now.

My Proshop guy got me a bottle of the new Vise Cleaner, and I had a chance to test it out today.
 
It seems to clean pretty well. I got a lot of stuff off my Raptor P7 after bowling 3 games on a pair with heavy fresh oil. When I got home, I went over the ball again NeoTac Hook-it, my favorite high potency cleaner. I wasn't able to get anything additional off the ball, so the Vise cleaner at least passed the first test.
 
After using Vise for a few weeks, I run a few balls through my NuBall Rejuvinator to see if any oil bleeds out. That will be the final test.

I have yet to see oil come out of a Motiv ball. I'm sure they pick it up, but it must go deeper into the cover stock somehow. I've seen it pour out of other brands using my same ball oven, but not the Motiv balls.

The Vise cleaner isn't the equal of your Hook It, it's a step down from that level of cleaner in my opinion. More equal to Powerhouse Energizer cleaner or Storm Reacta Clean.
