I am trying to decide which balls I should purchase and would like some advice. I am looking at purchasing some used equipment from a local driller friend as my current bowling ball is an original urethane blue hammer I bought over 20 years ago. I left bowling about 15 years ago and have started back about a year ago. I am averaging about 175 with my old ball but really need to update but want to get a feel for the new composite bowling balls before dropping a truck load of money. Here are the stats I know:

Speed about 15 mph (kind of slow)
Rotation about 300
not sure on axis

Here are my choices:

Seismic Euphoria
Hammer Raw Jacked
Brunswick Inferno
DV8 Marauder
Hammer Grape Vibe

I wont be paying much for any of these less than $50 each drilled and ready but could really use some advice. I will most likely buy 2 of these and would like one relatively mild and maybe something a bit stronger. I worry with my lower ball speed about controlling the hook with to aggressive of a ball. All advice would be appreciated.

I can comment on the Marauder and Blazing Inferno, as I have experience with both.

Marauder - Hybrid cover that is pretty strong downlane for most.  Excellent ball on most house shots. Can be used dull to shiny, so it's versatile.

Blazing Inferno - Goes pretty long and turns late.  Nice reaction on medium to drier patterns for me.

I'd say so.  That's basically covering the cost of re-drilling.
