ball feels like a feather

No, I'm not throwing anything less than a manly 16 pound ball, but for the last couple of weeks now, I've had pretty good timing.  Then it occured to me how light and easy it was to swing the bowling ball.  I've been making extra effort to push the ball up a little in the start for a good extension.  After this initial push, I've had this picture of a demolition ball swinging (must have come from some late night TV) and the ball suddenly becomes seemingly weightless.  I feel a pause at the peak of my backswing, but the rest is just a blur.

The ball flies through the heads and my overall hook is down a little, but my carry seems to have improved.  I have even been able to shift gears in speed and keep that same easy feeling.  Normally slowing down is difficult for me because I grew up with a cranker mentality where it's hard to leave anything in the bag.

This game feels so easy and graceful when done correctly.  I just wish I could find that good feeling more often.  Next time you're in a groove, try to remember how light the ball feels.

I have been feeling the same way for the past couple of weeks, but I think it is due to the fact that I have started an exercise program using the Powerball. Stronger arm and a cleaner release, feels good!!
