I just got my Ultimate and LOVE it. My XXX is on it's way as well. Either ball would be my suggestion....

If you are really trying to fight through the soup, you need a lane #1 super carbide bomb. However, you need to know that this is a condition specific ball. You can't use it for light or medium oil. Really heavy oil is what it is made for. If you get one, you won't be disappointed.

I would not suggest the Triple X, doesnt cut through oil all that well, at least in box condition. The triple Xtreme would be a good choice, lots of ball right there. Im pickin up a Visionary Charcoal Executioner.

As of yesterday, Visionary still had two blem (surface blems) 15# Midnight Scorchers for sale at (I think) $95.  Great ball for heavy oil.
