I did not know the man at all but Guru Gary Parsons shared a story with me, about him. He told me that former PBA member Tim Mack, who had won many international tournaments overseas called Chrisman one day to tell him about a young prodigy Mack had seen bowl in a recent tournament. Mack told him, over the phone..."This dude is a special project! He's young, raw and Can't Miss!" Chrisman, without ever seeing the guy throw a ball said.....Sign him! The young prodigy turned out to be Belmo. And the rest is history.
Some days you're the bug....some days you're the windshield...that's bowling!

There is a lovely tribute to him on the Beef and Barnsy channel on YouTube with Tim Mack. Well worth seeing.
