Title: ball info needed
Post by: Buckwild on October 16, 2003, 05:21:13 PM
I am in the process of revamping my arsenal. Right now this is what I have, drilled and undrilled:

Drilled
Brunswick Detonator, Pin next to the ring finger, cg stacked

Brunswick Monster Red/Black, pin above ring, cg slightly to the right, hole near PAP

Track Freak Out, pin 1 inch above ring, MB next to thumb hole on right side.

Storm Big hit Pearl, pin between fingers, cg a pinch to the right of cg.

Undrilled
Morich Pioneer, pin 2-3 inches from cg 3 oz top weight.

All of these balls are 15 lbs. I am right handed, medium ball speed, medium rotation, axis tilt between 10-14 degrees, measured by Mo pinel at the seminar.

what I would like to know, is what holes do I need to fill in this arsenal, and if I should drill the Pioneer, and how should I get it drilled?

Thanks guys, in advance.

Drill the Pioneer like or similar to your Monster Red/Black. Maybe kick the cg out a little more...it will fit in between your Red/Black and Freak Out.
Light to heavy:
Big Hit Pearl
Red Black
Pioneer
Freak Out
Detonator

Thanks for the replies. I now realize there's a big gap between my Detonator, and Freak Out. It looks like I need something along the lines of medium-heavy. What are you suggestions?

I hear what you are saying about the Bruiser (scuffed) or the SmashR. Any suggestions as far as Track and Storm balls? Just keeping my options open

I talked it over with my ball driller, and he agreed on the SmashR. I'm picking it up Friday. Thanks again!
