It's been awhile since I've shot an honor score but I shot my first 800 in sanctioned league about 1 1/2 weeks ago. How long does it take to show up under my name?
Just in case it doesn't show up in a few weeks or however long it takes what do I do? Is it the secretary job to turn it in or how does it work?
All I found on USBC was a reward form. I don't care about an award, I just want it listed under my achievements. Is there another form I need to use? What exactly does the secretary or USBC official turn into USBC or how does USBC know about your score?
I'm sure this secretary turned it in if that is the procedure these days but in 2005 when front 11 was an honor score I shot one and never showed up. The excuse was it was due to the ABC/USBC merger at the time.
Thanks.

It has varied some depending on how fast your league secretary turns in the form and how fast your local association turns that form in to national.

I generally got a letter from the national organization in 3 to 4 weeks and it would show up on bowl.com about a month after being shot.

There is a form the league secretary needs to fill out, and you sign and also add some ball info. Be sure to ask your league secretary. Our league has our forms ready for us the next week. It is up to the secretary of the league to get the form submitted to the USBC (not sure if it goes to local first, then national, or straight to national HQ). From then, it is usually a few weeks. I think it's safe to say that at a minimum, it would take at least a month to show up under your achievements section.

I shot a 300 at my state tournament 5 years ago and it hasn't been posted yet...  😉
