Good price for a used ball????
« on: January 16, 2008, 04:09:51 AM »
I've been looking at getting a Banger Bowling ball for a while now. And a someone in my league  has the Pearl Hole Pounder that he bought at the Open last year. He has around 15-20 games on it, and has switched to Morich. Anyways he told me to make an offer and it is mine, but I don't want to lowball him. so I was just curious as to what you all would offer.....?

If it's close on span, and you don't have to do much, I'd say around the $80 mark.

If you were to buy a used Banger ball in the "for sale forum" on this BR Site, even with low games and taking into consideration that although it may be a good ball (I don't know this though as I have never had one), it is not in the "popular ball catergory" like Brunswick, Storm, Lane 1, etc. and it would sell for a few dollars less than those balls. Based on that, a seller would probably be lucky to get even $70 "shipped" for a low gamea Banger ball. Now deduct from that, at $15 to $20 shipping costs (shipping, packaging, etc.) depending where the ball was being shipped to, and that makes the actual selling price of the ball in the approx. $50 to $55 range, so to me that is all the ball would be worth is $50 to $55.
