has anyone heard about what ball will win this award? i hear the taboo, victory road, and gravity nano are the three top candidates. but that is only through the grape vine.

Good thing there aren't many balls to choose from (sarcasm)....

This is like voting for Album of the year.  So subjective in so many ways and with something like 150+ balls to chose from, they end up going purely on sales figures.  This leads me to believe that it will be the Nano.

I think it'll be the Nano as well. I see them everywhere.

Initial reports look as if they're leaning towards something round... that has a color and potentially even a logo on it.

But that's a VERY early report.....

I cant understand why balls that dont even roll that good can even be considered as Ball of the Year.  IMO....the Victory Road should be the winner.  Rolled extremely good.  It appealed to all types of bowlers, strokers to crankers.  And it sold pretty well.  Why would you vote on something based on sales alone?

The reason is that "IMO" is different for everyone. So as the Victory Road rolled great for a lot of people, I guarantee theres a bunch more out there that hated it.

My vote would go for the Ebonite Cyclone, great combination of performance and affordability.  --  JohnP

Isn't Lane 1 going to sweep yet again? Don't they make the ball of the year EVERY year?

Wow, that Lane #1 Dynamo nonsense was like 4 years ago.  You would think people would let it go at some point...
