Need some advice
« on: August 05, 2007, 12:25:03 PM »
I have always been an avid bowler and over the last few months I have gotten my girlfriend back in to the sport. Shes a good spare shooter/stroker with hardly any revs. We are going to get her a new ball but which one is the question. I was thinking something like a Tropical Storm but I am looking for everyones opinion... thanks

Well we need to know a little more about her.  What is she throwing now?  Is she competitive or just recreational?

Sorry, i'm getting her in to my youth leagues. I believe she throws a really old rhino. Most likely she will just bowl 1 or 2 leagues but I might be able to talk her in to some tournaments.

Most probably, any entry level ball will IMHO do. If she has not too much speed and revs, a polished high RG ball with a not overly aggressive surface (Tropical Storm, Power Groove, Tornado etc.) will be a good choice, and among these many color combos are available

Sit her down at the computer show her and explain to her the Bash, Tropical Storms and the Jazz. If she has a Rhino any of these will be a different reaction but they will be a good step up and maybe she'll see something she likes.

I would not jump up to much into reactive she might not like the difference and want to quit.
