the pin in my ball is cracking

The pin in my blade pearl is cracking and chipping apart on top.  It still works great... is there anything i can do to fix this...does this mean the core is cracked?  any info is helpful

this does not mean the core is cracking. You can drill it out and plug it if you don't like the appearance, but it is not necessary.
