Playing the Cheetah
« on: February 19, 2009, 03:43:05 AM »
What is the best way to play the Cheetah on wooden lanes. I was thinking about using my Temper at 1500 with polish and playing down and in starting off. Smooth roll, nice arc to the pocket, no over under. As the lanes broke down, I plan to move inside and play my uprising at 2000 polished. Of course, just my best guess.

The new Cheetah plays a little differently, doesn't have the "throw it at the gutter and it'll hook" to it anymore.  On wooden lanes you still gotta get the ball to 3-4-5 though(roughly, every surface plays a little differently).  Just a matter of how you go about doing it.  So just start out side of 5 and try to find the friction/oil line, and go from there.
