I think it's more ball motion and cover prep than anything. A low rg/solid coverstock combination should do the trick, then just play around with surface prep until you find something that works for that ball. Storm equipment is on one end as far as skid/snap reaction, even their smooth stuff jumps on the backend, and Brunswick is on the other end as far as smooth even reactions. Even Brunswick pearl stuff rarely gets close to what you would call skid/snap. Depending on how much hook you want, I'd say look at Brunswick. A good choice for lower end would be a solid Avalanche, prolly have to take the polish off depending on how wet/dry it is where you bowl, a mid range ball would be a Rattler or a Copperhead, and a high end ball would be the Siege. A good offering from Storm would be the Dimension, and you'd have to get into the specific company forums for all the other brands, don't follow any further than Brunswick, Storm, and Roto.
