OK, so while I was getting my lesson with Kim Terrell, PWBA bowler and all around nice person, she notices that my Truck isn't reading the midlane very well -- it was trying to, but just ended up skidding through and dying on me. The lanes were a lot greasier than normal, so my Sonic X was just sliding into the deck. It was her opinion that I need to look at some new equipment. With that ringing endorsement, I'm now in search for a ball to add to the arsenal. I currently have my Burgundy Hammer, a Sonic X and the Truck. I was thinking Apocalypse, Silver Streak Pearl or X-Factor. Any other opinions? I know those balls are for medium, but will they also handle a straight up line when it gets a little oily?

The Truck should cover med/heavy oil pretty well. I wouldn't think a pearl resin ball would handle any more oil than your Truck, so I'd stay away from the SS Pearl and X-Factor. A strong solid shell resin or light/med load particle sounds like what you want.
Raging Inferno, Full Throttle, Anomaly, Black Cherry Bomb, Mayhem, Silver Streak Particle, Duece, Super Charge, Phenom Unleashed, Burgandy Gryphon...
