You can smoke while bowling, but to actually smoke during competition will probably hinder your performance. How many pros have you seen smoking on TV. I know Pete Weber does, but not when hes bowling.

Mark Grace used to smoke in the dugout.  Some guys could probably smoke while standing in the outfield or even waiting at 1st base.  It's a stupid analogy.  Bowling is a sport that can be played for recreation or for competition.  Either way, you have to get up off your arse, pick up the ball go through the approach to the foul line w/momentum & physically forcing that ball down a 60ft lane to knock down as many pins as possible.  That is sport.

Most people don't know what ESPN stands for.

Growing up we played baseball, football, basketball, bowling, and even street hockey ( couldn't skate) and we called all of these things games. I think we didn't start calling them sports until we got into high school. Than all of a sudden they all became sports.

Bowling, Golf, Badminton, Table Tennis, NASCAR, Billiards, Weightlifting, Darts are anaerobic sports which means they rely either on physical strength or specific hand eye coordination.

Football, Baseball, Basketball, Hockey, Swimming, Running, Diving etc... are aerobic sports which means they depend on heart rate and lung capacity.

Football and baseball are not considered aerobic sports.

The Machine Ive bowled 13 games on a sport condition not including practice and that was rough enough considering how often I bowl that much in one day.

50 Games in 2 days on a sport shot is rough lol. Once you stop the first day I can't imagine starting up and bowling that many games again.

I wrote Jim Rome a couple of times to challenge him to a bowling match. I never heard from him, but he also hates NASCAR, Soccer, and Cycling, so what can you do?

Well, you know what they say, those who can't do, coach.  Those who can't do or coach, manage. Those who can't do, coach, or manage become "sports analysts".

In the case of Jim Rome, I think it's more of a chimpanzee or monkey "I fling poo" kind of approach that keeps him employed, not any kind of true talent, knowledge, or insight.  I'm surprised he doesn't run for political office.
