Curt Dupre is in Rambo mode at the Masters. Dont really get along with him, but great bowling so far nonetheless.

One of my mentors, Eddie Curtis is there as well. I think he made top 50 cut after the first sweeper.
Some days you're the bug....some days you're the windshield...that's bowling!

Lil league coach (TJ Trout) also killed it today. With squad C still left to bowl, he's in 35th at plus 88.  Pride of Pottsville PA.  Throw back a Yuengling and keep it going.

I'm nothing but a league hack, but for god's sake, 15 bowlers didn't even average 160. I've bowled on many demanding shots in my life and there aren't that many times I couldn't average 160.

What you have to take into consideration is your cross and the likelihood you're paired with high revolution players. You have no idea what these guys do to the front of the lane. I'd guess a lot of those guys averaging 160 can't play 5th or 6th arrow comfortably.

It has more to do with the fact that anybody with $450, a USBC membership and a name shirt can bowl.

Out of curiosity, I decided to look up the bottom 5 after squad 1 on bowl.com and see their averages and any other info:

Last place: 2nd season as a sanctioned bowler, 173 avg in 1st season
Next to last: not listed
2nd from last: 200 and 201 for 108 games last season, has shot 300
3rd from last: 200 in 12-13, no league last year
4th from last: around 200 avg in assorted leagues in recent years

Only the guy in next to last traveled a significant distance to bowl. Sometimes people just want to do it for the experience. I know this can suck if you have to cross with someone who has no chance, but you don't know how hard it is unless you can experience it for yourself.
