I have heard the term "heavy forward roll" before. What does this mean? Also, I have a very high track and have been told to not change my release because, if I do, I will sacrifice roll. I have also heard that high track releases cause a ball to read the lane really early. I tend to fight dry lanes and throw weaker equipment than most. I also do not have a very high Rev rate, but even with my weak equipment, I have a harder time bowling on broken down conditions than most other bowlers. Could this be because my ball reads the dry so early due to my high track?
