Ball roll question
« on: December 28, 2014, 03:34:40 PM »
Ok this seems backward to me, but from what I have read, I should come more up the back of the ball for wetter conditions. To me, it seems like I should come around the ball more so the ball does not have to transition as much before it gets into a roll. Can somebody explain to me the fault in my reasoning?

It's how the ball is allowed to slow down and the more side rotation applied the more the bowling ball will have a tendency to spin in the condition as well as being over responsive once the ball does slow down
It's like hitting up on the ball...it's confused when it comes out of the conditioner...

actually by getting around it more the ball is less stable therefor the ball has to transition MORE to become stable and get into the roll phase

OK that all makes sense! Thanks! I tried coming more up the back of the ball last night, and my ball had a much better reaction all night.

It will allow it to smith out the oilier area and transition to the dry easier...good luck
