Ball search help...
« on: July 01, 2008, 10:25:20 AM »
Hey roomies, I'm currently searching for a ball to give me a look I don't have with my equipment at the moment and need some help.

I'm looking for a ball for mediums to medium-lighter patterns, but to be smooth, at the moment all of my equipment tends to boom on the backend, partially because of layouts and my style but partially the balls themselves.

I'm currently looking at something like the Avalanche Solid or possibly a Creature solid.

Any suggestions and experiences with the balls I listed or ones you have found to work in the situation i'm looking for would be great, thanks.

Look into the AMF Orbit Xtreme Solid. The OOB surface is a high gloss, but knock that off with either a 4000 or 2000 grit pad, and you'll be good to go. The durability is great, also. Mine is drilled with the pin high over the fingers, 4" to PAP, CG 2" to PAP with a weight hole also real close to my PAP.

Hope this helps!

I have had very good results with my Blue Vibe on these conditions in oob finish if it were to skid too much you could always knock the polish off. I also had a good look with a buddie's Creature Pearl drilled pin above bridge and cg on grip center. oh my pap is 5.7 over and .7 up higher speed, and slightly above average revs. Hope this helps.

I'd go with the Blue Vibe or the Ogre Pearl or a Venus, if you can find one.
Jolt solid is another possibility.
