ball selection help
« on: February 21, 2006, 03:40:40 AM »
i am thinking of getting a one really close now, but I am wondering if anyone would mind giving a little advice.I am looking for a ball that i would be able to play wide on lighter volumes and still be able to play up the boards without over shooting the pocket when the volume is heavier, a ball that will come out of the oil when it reads the dry and carry and a ball that wont burn up and loose energy if i am playing the inside line. I am a low speed high track bowler .I am using the oracle for heavy ,then an amf ninja fury 4000 dull, then a track assassin 4000 polished after that its a tossup still looking for a good dry ball just got a tornado warning ,but the jury is still out on it. These are the balls i am using now ,but i am still finding that in heavy oil my oracle isnt strong enough its at 600 now. I like these balls and over the past weeks have been seeing good results ,but i am missing something.

I've been thinking about the same things dry? still don't know? but I have decided on a heavy oiler though The Epic Battle, after reading the reviews I just can't wait to purchase this orb. Besides Roto Grip is on a roll with all thier new offerings. How can you miss. For dry I might go with a Ultra Sonic drilled mild????
