ball selection help
« on: September 24, 2013, 12:30:53 PM »
been out of the ball market for a while.. i am a fast speed medium revs player that likes to swing a little i play 3rd arrow to out to 5 and back, or if the ball isnt coming up i move right and play straighter. i throw fast so i was hoping to find a ball that will give me the most backend...
I have a lane 1 cobault solid and it simply doesnt have enough back end for me any more, and i bowl on synthetics 1 night a week.
any thoughts? was considering motiv or lane 1 balls but open to whatever,, thanks
lets face it... this isnt deadlifting or picking up women.. its BOWLING!!!! Stop acting tough when you roll 4 strikes in a row!!!

I'd say from Motiv, go with a ball from their Primal line, either the Primal Rage or the Primal Scream. Both of those should fit the bill for the medium oil and have the backend reaction you're looking for.

If you'd rather go Lane 1, the new Crank is particle pearl and should help if carrydown becomes too much of a problem

Maybe look at a 2 Cruel from Motiv as well. With your ball speed, you may want something more aggressive than the Primals.

I would suggest the Mystic Aura. This ball is great on medium to heavier patterns. Plenty of power on the back part of the lane.

In my opinion, I would suggest going with either the Elite Espionage or Elite Treason.

There are some video's posted on Youtube for both.  Take a look!  Also, for some further reviews or comments, go to the Elite forum on this site and check them out.  Truly some great equipment.

Since you're open to really anything, an IQ Tour Pearl (Gold) is a great ball.  With a good strong layout for your particular roll and a bit of surface on the IQTP you likely won't be disappointed.

The Aura Mystic is a great choice for someone like yourself that has faster ball speed and is looking for something with a strong backend move on medium conditions.  Pin carry is also very impressive.
