I bowled on a lane where my average ball speed was 13mph down the bottom of the lane and I cant find the thread on here that tells you how to workout your speed at release so I can find my average ball speed(at release). Can anyone tell me please or post a link to a thread that can .

If the lanes were dry your ball could lose speed as well.

You can't just add a number. Quibica measures in such a short distance, if your ball is hooking a bunch, it's going to show up a lot slower than if you threw the ball straight.

A while ago (probably a bit over a year ago), I typed in a way to measure the speed of your ball using a stopwatch. I can't get to the post, because it's more than a year old...

Does anyone else have that info?

The only caution I would give you is to make sure you hit the headpin.

Measure the time elapsed from point of release until the ball hits the head pin. Take 40.91 and divide it by the amount of seconds.

From release to head pin. If head pin isn't hit, ball doesn't count.
1.80 sec = 22.73 mph
1.85=22.11
1.90= 21.53
1.95=20.98
2.00=20.45
