New Goo, or 6 frames to fame!
« on: March 19, 2014, 08:46:25 PM »
Last year explosive backends and a Sonic X solid was plenty!

This year same house the Mission X drilled pin up and mass bias strong has been the winner.

Oh I have had a shot almost all night every night since the beginning of the season.  If I started at 29 and threw 15 at the arrows, maybe I would go to 30 for a while then back to 28 as the backend softened.  Or some variation of near this every week!

All of a sudden I am starting a touch deeper.  Throwing 5 or 6 in a row in practice and then throwing 5 or 6 in league on this same line then Boom!  a spliced arrow a ripped shot and a miss of the head pin!  By maybe a 4 boards with no warning.....  Wha????

A two board move left and maybe a flush....Then the next ball a bucket and then a two board move....

Well you get it!

Other phenomenal lefties (two or 3 of the best in the state I believe)who bracket me every night on pairs and I of more average abilities are finding we are moving near 10 boards a night.

I can't keep up with it!  I am usually only finding and catching up with the pocket in game 3!!

Results every night lately I start with 5 or 6 in a row in practice and then the next 5 or 6 to start every first week for the last 3 weeks....  Several more weeks if I can only count the first 6 frames I may have something!

The rest garbage till I settle down in the last game playing the lefty straight up 8 or 9!..

Dead coverstock on my Mission X?  Oil logged, goee? new goo?  Missing stripper?  The monster hand lefty to the left of me is saying the shot has lengthened all year to 43 feet and he looks shorter all night and moves left 5 to 10 also.....for the night.

One local sage says kegel is adding more ooze to their oils....

Last if I can start straighter with a weaker ball the Freakin Frantic(playing the friction outside 10)and stay there I am having much bigger nights!

Ideas?

Regards,

Luckylefty
PS Righties are reporting near the same but they are more used to big moves!
PPS, pins are sliding everywhere in the racks and staying up, and those who hook at spares and play straighter up are missing them both left and right handed by never getting to the pin as the pattern looks like it goes in to the pin deck almost by game
